Job Details
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team. The PACU RN is responsible for providing comprehensive post-operative care to patients recovering from anesthesia, ensuring their safety, comfort, and a smooth transition to the next phase of their care.
Responsibilities
$10,000 Sign-on Bonus

Provide direct patient care in the PACU, including monitoring vital signs, assessing pain levels, and administering medications as prescribed.
Assess patients' post-operative condition, identifying and addressing potential complications such as respiratory distress, hemodynamic instability, and pain management issues.
Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
Educate patients and families on post-operative care instructions and discharge planning.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in the electronic health record.
Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Respond effectively to emergency situations.
Provide a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
Qualifications
Graduate of RN Program
BLS through American Heart Association
ACLS within 5 months
PALS within 5 months
Knowledge of current nursing practice, critical thinking skills, professional verbal and written communication skills, technical/computer skills, attention to detail, customer service skills, adaptability, maintain confidentiality.
