Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our Outpatient Therapy Team, with a preferred background or interest in hand therapy.

Whether you're a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) or working toward that certification, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced clinicians, gain specialized training, and help patients regain independence and function through individualized treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, plan, and implement evidence-based occupational therapy treatment programs for patients with orthopedic, neurological, and post-surgical conditions—particularly of the upper extremity.

  • Collaborate with physicians, other therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure the best outcomes.

  • Document patient progress, reassess goals, and adjust plans of care as needed.

  • Provide education to patients and their families on injury prevention, home programs, and functional adaptations.

  • Participate in program development and community outreach efforts as needed.


Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program

  • Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of Nebraska 

  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association (or able to obtain upon hire)

  • Preferred: Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) or experience in upper extremity rehab/hand therapy
