Our full range of medical services includes trauma services heart and vascular care emergency services surgery maternity cancer care and diagnostic imaging.
Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

  • Assist in the admission discharge and transfer process of patients.

  • Set up tables instruments and supplies required for cesarean sections vaginal deliveries and circumcisions; maintaining sterile technique.

  • Respond to patient calls anticipate their needs and assure their safety and comfort through regular rounds environmental maintenance and other appropriate safety measures.

  • Maintain appropriate stock and equipment inventories in the department and patient rooms.

  • Assist in the preparation and draping of patient and operative area. Prepare pass and maintain a correct count of instruments sutures sponges and supplies utilized during the operative procedure.

  • Maintain surgical instruments by ensuring proper washing packaging sterilization and storage.


Qualifications
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) from the American Heart Association required upon hire.

  • CNA or Surgical Technologist certification preferred

  • Experience in a surgical or acute care setting preferred.
