Location: 161st W Maple Clinic

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday-Friday 7a-530p (Tuesday's Off)

What You'll Be Doing:

  • You'll be the friendly face and guiding hand for our patients, leading them comfortably through their visit. This includes taking vitals, preparing exam rooms, and ensuring everything is spick and span.
  • From calming nervous kids with a sticker (or two!) to listening intently to adults, you'll be building rapport and making every patient feel heard and cared for. You'll expertly gather medical histories and prep them for their provider.
  • You'll be a wizard with our EMR system, accurately documenting patient information, test results, and treatment plans. Think of yourself as a digital storyteller for each patient's health journey.
  • You'll be the go-between for our patients and the lab, collecting specimens, processing orders, and ensuring accuracy. 
  • You'll be a key communicator, relaying messages between patients, providers, and other healthcare professionals. Clear, kind, and concise!

***CHI Health requires that ALL Medical Assistants / Certified Medical Assistants MUST be a graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP)


Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP)
  • Successfully completed Medication Aide 40-hour course or current/valid 
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
