Job Summary and Responsibilities

Paid out in FULL after 30 days of employment! 

Location: CUMC-Bergan campus Nephrology Clinic

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-430p, NO weekends, NO holidays & NO call!

Our tight-knit nephrology clinic is looking for a new Medical Assistant to join our team—a person who can bring both serious clinical skill and a dose of fun to our daily work.
In this role, you'll be on the front lines, helping our providers deliver excellent care to patients dealing with a variety of kidney-related conditions. You’ll be the friendly face that puts our patients at ease and the organized mind that keeps our clinic running smoothly. This is more than a job; it's a chance to build real connections with a team that feels like family and patients who depend on us.
**CHI Health requires that our medical assistants MUST be a graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP)

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP)
  • Successfully completed Medication Aide 40-hour course or current/valid 
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
