Responsibilities

CHI Health has an immediate need to add a Medical Assistant / Certified Medical Assistant (NOT Med Aide / CNA) to our Pulmonology Clinic located at our CUMC-Bergan Campus off of 77th & Mercy!

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p, No weekends, No holidays & No call! 

Are you a compassionate and sharp-witted Medical Assistant looking for a new adventure? Our fast-paced pulmonology clinic needs a vital team player to help our patients breathe a little easier. We're looking for someone who can expertly handle the technical aspects of clinic life while bringing a friendly, caring touch to patient interactions. **CHI Health requires that ALL Medical Assistants / Certified Medical Assistants MUST be a Graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP)

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP)
  • Successfully completed Medication Aide 40-hour course or current/valid 
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
