  • CHI Health Clinic (42nd & L)
  • CHI Health Clinic Primary Care (LaVista)

Responsibilities

**$3000 Sign On Bonus Offered**

Paid out in FULL after 30 days of employment

In healthcare, we all agree that support is a must in order to be successful. This position will support our healthcare teams by ensuring they have everything they need in order to care for our patients. They also play a huge role in a patient’s experience and prep when they visit any of our clinics. We couldn’t do it without you! If you have a passion for supporting others and enhancing patient experience, we want to talk to you.

Expectations:

  • Performs general patient care following established clinic workflows. 
  • Greets and prepares patients for the health care provider by completing intake duties such as obtaining and recording vital signs, reviewing drug allergies and current medications, completing applicable screening questionnaires and documenting reason for visit.
  • Collects and prepares ordered specimens for laboratory analysis. 
  • Prepares and provides ordered medications and/or vaccines to patients. 
  • Cleans and sterilizes instruments. 
  • Ensures patient exam rooms are stocked, clean, and orderly. 
  • Escalates non-routine issues, questions and/or concerns timely and appropriately. 
  • Ensures safety checklists and quality controls are completed as required and necessary action taken if indicated.
  • Performs other duties within scope of role as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • State-approved EMT training program graduate
  • One of the following licenses issued from state of employment: Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) or Emergency Medical Technician-I (EMT-I)
  • Active status on Nebraska Medication Aide Registry within 90 days of hire
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
