- Clinical Support: Assist the nursing team with patient procedures, wound care, equipment management, and supply organization.
- Patient Care: Perform daily living assistance, including hygiene, bathing, and comfort measures, while maintaining accurate documentation.
- Rounding & Monitoring: Conduct hourly rounds to check vitals, update patient boards, and communicate status reports to the clinical team.
- Mobility & Transport: Safely assist patients with ambulation and coordinate the transport of discharged patients.
- Care Plan Contribution: Actively contribute to the nursing process by collecting data, observing patient responses, and reporting findings to the RN.
- Patient Advocacy: Maintain a vigilant focus on patient needs, ensuring high-quality, compassionate care while multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Successful Completion of the 75-hour state-approved Nursing Assistant course
- Active Nurse Aide (CNA) license in good standing in Nebraska
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association
