Job Summary and Responsibilities

**Up to $5000 Sign On Bonus Offered**

Paid out in FULL after 30 days of employment

Location: CUMC-Bergan campus off of 77th & Mercy

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-430p, No weekends, No holidays & No call

What you'll be doing:

  • You'll be the friendly face our patients see first, warmly greeting them, zipping through intake, and setting them up for their appointments with our fantastic gastroenterologists. Think of yourself as the welcoming committee to comfortable bellies!
  • You'll skillfully navigate our EMR system, ensuring patient charts are accurate, up-to-date, and ready for our docs. No missed notes on your watch!
  • With a keen eye and a gentle touch, you'll flawlessly take vital signs, ensuring our doctors have the essential health intel they need. Consider yourself a crucial data gatherer!
  • From prepping specimens to precisely labeling them, you'll be the expert ensuring our lab tests are accurate and timely. You're the conductor of our diagnostic orchestra!

**CHI Health requires that ALL Certified Medical Assistants / Medical Assistants MUST be a graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP)

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP)
  • Successfully completed Medication Aide 40-hour course or current/valid 
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
