Job Requirements
  • High School GED General Studies required. 
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) required. 
  • Fire Safety (within 90 days of start date) required.
  • Knowledge of specialty instruments and thorough knowledge of disinfecting and sterilization procedures


Preferred

  • Associates Other and one (1) year technical operating/instrument room experience in sterile processing preferred.
  • Bachelor's Other and one (1) year technical operating/instrument room experience in sterile processing preferred.
  • Prior large Hospital/acute care experience preferred.
  • GI experience preferred.
  • Cert Sterile Processing Dist Tech (CSPDT-CBSPD) preferred.
  • Certified Sterile Processing and Dist Supervisor (CSPDS) preferred.
  • Certified Sterile Processing and Dist Tech (CSPDT) preferred.

Founded in 1955, Dignity Health - Northridge Hospital Medical Center is a 394-bed, acute care, nonprofit hospital located. Serving over 80,000 patients annually, the hospital offers a full complement of services including a Level II Trauma Center, heart care, cancer care, and women’s health. It is the only pediatric trauma center in the San Fernando Valley.
