Radiation Therapy Coordinator

As our Radiation Therapy Coordinator, you will provide both clinical excellence and operational leadership within our Cancer Center, working under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient team performance.

Every day you will apply ionizing radiation, prepare immobilization devices, perform dosimetry, and calculate MUs, while also overseeing daily operations, including patient scheduling, therapist coverage, equipment maintenance, and supply management. You will serve as the final review point for quality assurance, auditing patient charts and documentation to ensure all safety protocols are strictly met.

To be successful in this role, you must be a detail-oriented Radiation Therapist with the leadership skills to mentor staff and manage clinical workflows. You should possess the ability to balance complex technical tasks—such as calibration and treatment planning—with the administrative oversight required to maintain seamless, safe, and accurate operations.

• Responsible for the routine daily operation in therapy.
• Actively serve as a resource in the therapy department, directly leading the therapy staff.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with other professions and administrative staff within the department: dosimetry, nursing, physics, and front office regularly to solve problems and improve patient care and service.
• Responsible for all technical aspects of the department including service, patient satisfaction and problematic issues as they arise.
• Responsible for the instruction of radiation therapists in Radiation Therapy in the technical operation of equipment, patient treatment techniques, and general departmental training.

Required

• ACR approved program in Radiation Therapy
• Must have minimum of two years experience as a Radiation Therapist
• Must have experience in Varian Systems: Aria, Eclipse, Elekta, MS4, Teletracker, Patient Select, MS Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Registered Radiation Therapy Technologist: CA
• Basic Life Support - CPR
• Fluoroscopy Radiology Tech: CA
• Fire Safety, within 90 Days and
• Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT or
• Registered Technologist Bone Densitometry or
• Registered Technologist Computed Tomography or
• Registered Technologist Cardio Interventional Radiography or
• Registered Technologist Mammography or
• Registered Technologist Magnetic Resonance Imaging or
• Registered Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technology or
• Registered Technologist Quality Management or
• Registered Technologist Radiation Therapy or
• Registered Technologist Vascualr Inteventional Rad or
• Registered Technologist Vascular Sonography
