Northridge Hospital Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients' physical conditions.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
  • Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other modalities to patients.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  • Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques for continued improvement.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient care.
  • Stay current with best practices and emerging trends in physical therapy.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an approved school of Physical Therapy holding Baccalaureate Degree or higher required.
  • Current California Physical Therapy licensure required (PTL)
  • Recent graduates who are board eligible will be considered for provisional appointments.
  • Current CPR (AHA BLS)
  • Fire Safety card required. (must obtain 90 days from start date)

Training:

  • Academic curriculum will include coursework on growth and development gerontology and therapeutic procedures for pediatric adolescent adult and geriatric populations.
  • New applicants must present documentation of continuing education or experience. Upon annual appraisal must demonstrate participation in external continuing education.
  • Therapists will apply and obtain CCS paneling once one year equivalent of pediatric experience is obtained.
