The posted compensation range of $42.51 - $61.64 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Responsibilities
As the Manager of Security for Northridge Hospital your primary objective will be to maintain a safe, secure and threat free environment. You will provide a framework for the successful implementation and maintenance of a comprehensive Security Program, manage Security personnel in the daily activities related to protecting the safety and security of patients, visitors, staff and physicians, and ensure that officers are properly trained and capable of carrying out their assigned duties. You will also develop and implements the Security Management Plan and manage/coordinate responses to critical incidents, including emergency management.

Qualifications
- Associate of Arts (AA) Degree in Business Administration or Criminal Justice, Safety Administration, Emergency Management required; or a combination of education and/or job related experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience managing a Security/public safety-related program required.
- Experience with budgets, program management, policy design and implementation oversight required.
- Law enforcement and/or military security related experience to include leadership role required.
- Current state driver's license required.
- Security Guard regular permit required.
- American Hospital Association compliant CPR BLS required within 90 days of employment.
- Familiar with The Joint Commission (TJC), Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and OSHA regulations and standards required.
- Completed Workplace violence training required within 6 months of employment.
- Completed ICS 100HC, 200HC, 700 courses or state equivalent required.
