We are seeking an exceptional Emergency Medical Specialist to join our dedicated team and provide critical care to patients in their most vulnerable moments.
- Respond swiftly and effectively to medical emergencies, providing immediate assessment and intervention.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and physical examination.
- Initiate and maintain intravenous access, performing phlebotomy as needed for diagnostic purposes.
- Monitor patient conditions and document all interventions and observations accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all equipment is operational and stocked.
Job Requirements
- 6 months of Emergency Care Technician experience required.
- High School graduate or equivalent required.
- CA Phlebotomy Certification required
- CA Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Certification required
- AHA BLS required
- Fire Safety card. (must obtain within 90 days of start date)
This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the collective bargaining agreement.
