The posted compensation range of $87.81 - $122.93 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Responsibilities
Provides strategic leadership and drives the Foundation's philanthropic growth by leading and executing all fundraising and development operations, ensuring strong alignment with the Foundation's mission and the needs of its supported organizations. This critical role involves:
- Developing, implementing, and overseeing a comprehensive, strategic annual fundraising plan that responds to the defined needs of the Foundation and its beneficiaries.
- Leading, managing, and inspiring a professional team of fundraising and support staff.
- Serving as the primary Foundation liaison, building and strengthening financial and public relations support with Board members and community leaders.
- Directing the administration, ethical stewardship, and strategic distribution of charitable contributions to maximize impact for the hospital and related entities.
- Acting as the senior major gifts and planned giving officer, actively cultivating a portfolio of significant prospects and donors to foster long-term relationships and secure vital funding.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Master's degree in a related field or a combination of education and/or additional job-related experience may be substituted in lieu of the degree.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of not-for-profit fundraising and development experience. Minimum of five (5) years of management experience.
Licensure:
- Certification as a Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE) preferred.
