The posted compensation range of $42.76 - $53.76 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Responsibilities
Northridge Hospital Medical Center is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Boiler Operator/Stationary Engineer Lic to join our team. This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our boiler room, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and safety standards.
- Operate and maintain high-pressure boilers, pumps, and other related equipment.
- Monitor and adjust boiler operations to ensure optimal efficiency and safety.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions.
- Maintain accurate records of boiler operations and maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations and codes.
- Work effectively as part of a team.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must have a L.A. City Steam Engineer license of 500 H.P. or greater.
- Minimum of two (2) years plant operations experience and one (1) year in a healthcare setting.
- Operate steam boilers, chillers and auxiliary plant equipment.
- Fire Safety card required within 90 days of employment.
This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
