The posted compensation range of $32.30 - $48.05 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary / Purpose
The Foundation Development Coordinator is responsible for planning and executing activities related to the pursuit of major and planned gifts for the Foundation. The main purpose is to raise money and develop relationships with donors and potential donors. This person will be responsible for the strategic execution and management of a comprehensive fundraising strategy to maximize philanthropic support, as well as build a base of loyal and consistent donor support for the respective Foundation. Under the direction of the direct supervisor, collaborates in planning, creating and preparing materials and analyzing financial and demographic data.
Essential Functions
- Develops and implements annual communications to educate and involve appropriate internal and external constituencies including coordination of case statements for the Foundation highlighting available charitable giving opportunities.
- Actively participates in the operation of the Foundation within budget guidelines, with a focus on cost/benefit considerations.
- Collaborates with the Foundation office to plan annual donor stewardship events and coordinates appropriate donor signage.
- Assists in the planning, development and implementation of donor recognition functions of the Foundation.
- Maintain customer relations as a primary focus and continually strives to satisfy the needs of customers of the hospital and Foundation.
- Keeps apprised of successful fundraising initiatives in healthcare philanthropy that can be successfully incorporated into the Foundation’s’ annual giving program.

Job Requirements
Education and Experience
- Bachelors upon hire Required and
- Three years fundraising experience Preferred and
- Major gift fund raising experience Preferred
Licensure and Certifications
- Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) upon hire Preferred
