The posted compensation range of $40.75 - $59.09 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

Responsibilities
Position Summary:
The Speech Pathologist participates as a member of the health care team working with professional non-professional staff and associated professionals in providing care which provides optimum home care and continuity of care to referred patients addressing the age of the patients served.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- Long-term care experience
- 1 year experience as a speech therapist
- Knowledge and ability to perform a speech pathology assessment and evaluation
- Knowledge of principles, concepts, diagnostic, and therapeutic techniques for speech therapy
- Ability to implement practical application of knowledge
- Ability to function independently and autonomously
- Ability to communicate in writing and verbally in English
- Ability to teach and instruct patient family and staff
- Current licensure by the California Board of Medical Quality Assurance as a speech and language pathologist
- Current BLS CPR certification (Must be through the American Heart Association)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 6 months to one year home health experience
