Quality Analyst
The posted compensation range of $26.82 - $39.90 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Job Summary and Responsibilities
- Facilitates development and implementation of data collection tools and processes including, the ability to identify data elements needed to complete appropriate measurement, perform timely data collection and abstraction per specifications, and validate data prior to submission or preview reports prior to publication.
- Generates reports and analyses to support related quality improvement, patient safety, patient experience and operational effectiveness using key statistical tools, including but not limited to, run charts, bar charts, pie charts, control charts, and cause and effect diagrams. Analyzes data and identifies key findings and develops action plans. Presents complex data with simplicity of design in a clear, easy to understand format.
- Learns, understands and becomes proficient in relevant facility, Dignity Health and external data sources and systems including, but not limited to, clinical process and outcome data, electronic health record data, event reporting data, and patient complaints, etc. (e.g. Midas+, iVOS, ATLAS, etc.). Assists in designing, developing, maintaining and updating clinical and other databases based on department and organizational needs.
- Collaborates on multidisciplinary teams and provides analytical support for various projects related to quality improvement, patient safety, patient experience and outcomes, as appropriate. Interprets, explains and discusses data analysis results.
Job Requirements
- Associate's Degree or three (3) years of related job or industry experience in lieu of degree.
- Minimum of one (1) year analytic/statistical analysis experience, preferably in health-care or clinic environment.
Preferred Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Knowledge of Community Clinic and Quality Improvement models
