The posted compensation range of $31.09 - $34.20 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Completed phlebotomy certification training
- Current CPT
- New graduate OK
- Training sufficient to maintain registration, On-the-job training as needed
- Good personal communication skills
- Good manual dexterity
- Ability to maneuver quickly and efficiently at the patient’s bedside and within hospital confines
- Working knowledge of multiple computer systems and software
- Familiarity with or ability to learn medical terminology
- Ability to remain calm and function efficiently during difficult or emergency situations
- Ability to communicate Phlebotomy responsibilities as outlined in the Phlebotomy Procedure manual to trainees
- Ability to read and follow written instructions as well as understand and adhere to verbal directions
- One year of phlebotomy experience in a clinical laboratory
- High School diploma or equivalent
