Job Summary and Responsibilities

We are seeking an enthusiastic communications professional to join our Communications, Marketing and Talent Development team in Milford, OH.  The Coordinator creates, supports and maintains content for the organization's many platforms including internal employee communication tools, online learning courses, training materials, newsletters, leadership development resources, employee recognition pieces, news articles, websites, employee app and social media. The ideal candidate for this role must have hands-on experience writing, editing and creating digital content. 

What you will do:

  • Coordinates production and distribution of communication and digital collateral including information gathering, writing, proofing, and application of specific brand standards.
  • Manage the weekly employee newsletter development and distribution. 
  • Manages CommonSpirit Health's employee app, build and schedule content, data management and tracks regular utilization rates.  
  • Serves to support and maintain the day-to-day requirements and overall maintenance of the organization’s enterprise level website, partner websites, and all corresponding external digital assets.
  • Maintains and manages updates and audit process for the Company Intranet. 
  • Maintains the day-to-day requirements for organization's social media platforms and support location questions and needs, as requested.
Job Requirements
  • Two years of professional writing experience preferred.  
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field. 
  • Digital content creation and management; strong experience in social medial including SEO and SEM.
  • Excellent communication skills including creating, writing and editing in a variety of modalities.  
  • Experience preparing written materials, documents, training materials, or end-user manuals.
  • Competent in computer programs including Google and Microsoft Office Suite.
