The posted compensation range of $41.14 - $61.20 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Ultrasound Tech, you will perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations, providing essential imaging for accurate diagnoses and patient care.
Every day you will perform diverse ultrasound procedures on various patient populations, using advanced equipment. You'll prepare patients, acquire/process optimal images, recognize/document pathology, and provide preliminary findings. Maintaining equipment, adhering to safety protocols, and collaborating with radiologists are key.
To be successful, you will possess strong technical proficiency in ultrasound, a deep understanding of anatomy/physiology/pathology, and meticulous attention to detail. Excellent communication for patient/team interaction and a commitment to diagnostic accuracy/patient safety are essential.
Required
- A graduate of a formal diagnostic medical ultrasound program and/or 1 year on the job experience in diagnostic medical ultrasound., upon hire and
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), within 12 - months or
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS), within 12 - months or
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Adult Echo (RDCSAE), within 12 - months or
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Fetal Echo (RDCSFE), within 12 - months or
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Pediatric Echo (RDCSPE), within 12 - months or
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Abdomen (RDMSAB), within 12 - months or
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Breast (RDMSBR), within 12 - months or
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Fetal Echo (RDMSFE), within 12 - months or
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Neurosonology (RDMSNE), within 12 - months or

- Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS), within 12 - months or
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT), within 12 - months and
- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire

Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
