MRI Specialist
The posted compensation range of $40.75 - $59.09 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Management Team and Medical Director, performs all MRI procedures in accordance with department protocols following established safety guidelines associated with the MRI environment.
- Perform all MRI procedures according to department protocol.
- Assist radiologist during procedures.
- Code correct ICD-10 Codes and CPT Codes on requisitions and order slips.
- Retriever pertinent patient information from Electronic Health Record Systems.
- Applies safety precautions and principles to patient care. Includes all applicable National Patient Safety Goals.
- Identify and report maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and safety problems. Troubleshoot equipment problems and assist with resolutions.
- Participates in unit, service line and CommonSpirit Health (CSH) Quality initiatives. Includes Patient Satisfaction, Throughput Initiatives, and departmental Core Measures.
- Communicates clearly and effectively using proper communication etiquette. Uses medical terminology accurately. Includes reporting abnormal or change in patient condition to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
Qualifications
Minimum:
- 1 year of experience in Magnetic Resonance Imaging
- Must possess and maintain a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Registered Technologist License (RTR) credential through ARRT
- Must be registered with the ARRT
- Must possess and maintain a current Basic Life Support certification (BLS) we accept American Heart Association
- IV Certification within six (6) months of hire or transfer
- Graduate of an accredited program
