Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Come join our leadership team as a Director of Diagnostic Imaging! In this role you will oversee Imaging Services for Mercy Medical Center Merced, which consists of Nuclear Medicine, Diagnostic Radiology, Ultrasonography, Mobile PET, and Patient Transport. You will also oversee Imaging services for our Rural Health clinic. You will strive to lead and inspire upward of 50 staff members working in a fast paced environment, and to empower your front line managers and supervisors to drive day to day clinical operations while promoting quality practices and a culture of teamwork.  This will help allow you to focus on big-picture strategy and growth. Our Hospital is working toward designation as a Level 3 Trauma Center, and you will play an integral part as the head of Imaging, and you will also spearhead the expansion of Imaging services offered at our Rural Health clinic. 
We are looking for an experienced Rad Tech, who has a demonstrated track record of managing Imaging Services, ideally for a mid-large sized acute care Hospital.  If that sounds like you, come leverage your experience to help grow our services to better serve our community!

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience: 
  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree required, or a combination of education and/or additional imaging-related experience may be substituted in lieu of the degree.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of diagnostic imaging experience, three (3) years of which include experience managing/supervising diagnostic imaging services required.
Required Licensure: 
  • Certified technologist CA state licensure required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
