The posted compensation range of $36.87 - $53.46 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Responsibilities
Nuclear Med Technologist Lead operates diagnostic equipment and responsible for the efficient daily operation of the Nuclear Medicine Department. Performs nuclear medicine studies, produces and digitally archives images under the direction of the Medical Director and Director of Imaging Services. Prepares nuclear medicine suites(s); coordinates patient flow, performs quality assurance. Maintains patient safety through attention to detail, equipment safety checks, adherence to department policies, and effective communication with physicians, staff and patients. Provided patient orientation, procedure explanation, and pre and post diadgnostic care to completion of test. Assists patients with basic patient care needs. Coordinates patient flow and the activities of the nuclear medicine department. Responsbile for proprer maintenance of equipment, accreditation, and departmental performance improvement.
Qualifications
Education Required:
Graduate of Nuclear Medicine Technology Program from an accredited institution or graudate of Radiologic Technology Program from an accredited institution.
Experience Required:
Two (2) years related work experience
Preferred: Three (3) years of experience in discipline
Licensure / Certification Required:
Licensed as Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) with Texas Medical Board (TMB)
Registered with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - ARRT (N) or CNMT.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association (AHA).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Written and oral communication skills
