At American Nursing Care Staffing, we're dedicated to making a difference in people's lives every day. We provide supplemental medical staff to respected hospitals in Cincinnati.  We are offering a 13 week Electrophysiology Lab RN assignment working in a hospital EP hospital unit.  

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: 4 × 10-hour shifts per week
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Facility: Hospital-Based Electrophysiology Lab

Compensation

Pay Rate: $4000 gross per week
Travel stipends available for qualified travelers

Job Requirements

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract at a hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. The EP Lab RN will provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing electrophysiology procedures, including cardiac ablations, device implants, and other invasive cardiac procedures.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced cardiac RN looking for a consistent four 10-hour shift schedule in a high-acuity hospital environment.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care before, during, and after EP procedures.
Assess and monitor patients throughout electrophysiology procedures.
Assist physicians and the EP team with cardiac ablations, device procedures, cardioversions, and other invasive cardiac procedures.
Administer medications, sedation, and other therapies according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and patient response to procedures.
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate changes in patient condition.
Assist with patient preparation, recovery, and discharge.
Maintain a sterile environment and follow infection-control standards.
Collaborate closely with electrophysiologists, anesthesia providers, radiology/technologist staff, and other members of the cardiac team.
Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and emergency situations.
Qualifications

Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible to work in Ohio.
Previous Electrophysiology Lab, Cardiac Cath Lab, ICU, CVICU, or critical-care nursing experience preferred.
Strong cardiac assessment and telemetry skills.
Experience with moderate sedation and/or procedural nursing preferred.
BLS certification required.
ACLS certification required.
Excellent communication, organization, and critical-thinking skills.
Schedule

4 × 10-hour shifts per week

40 hours per week
13-week contract
Hospital-based EP Lab
Schedule and start/end times determined by the hospital
Call requirements may apply depending on department needs
