The posted compensation range of $31.04 - $45.01 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Responsibilities

As the Manager, Back Office Operations, you contribute to the organizational success of providing high quality care by effectively leading and managing the office functions for assigned locations supporting patients, caregivers and employees. You are responsible for ensuring assigned areas of office operations are performed timely and accurately. Other responsibilities incude:
Office Operations:
- Works independently and with limited direct supervision using organizational guidelines, policies and procedures; good judgment; and supports and promotes department, branch, and organization decisions.
- Functions as an effective team member and contributes to the development and achievement of location and organizational goals and objectives.
- Is promptly and professionally available to assist back office staff. Works with branch leadership as needed for efficient operations.
- Demonstrates the ability to be efficient and productive by organizing job duties and responsibilities.
- Serves as liaison with corporate Human Resources and Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialists in the coordination of candidate interviews and new hire onboarding, including centralized or remote orientation for divisional consolidated team members.
- Troubleshoots the electronic process for documentation and record keeping to ensure
smooth operations. - Works closely with Regional Director of Office Operations and corporate HR in employment matters.
- Creates and maintains current employee employment file information. Develops and maintains accurate and complete files on all employees with assistance from the HR Designee. Communicates with management as needed for follow up in obtaining required documentation.
- Acts as a lead in retention efforts within the consolidated team as designated and assists in training new personnel as requested by Regional Director of Office Operations.
- Responsible for monitoring and evaluating measures of performance for consolidated team members. Develops and implements action plans based upon measurement results.
- Responsible for accurate, complete and timely communication of regulatory, operational and financial information to consolidated team members.
- Responsible for pre-billing audits; coordinates with branch management and staff to clear errors to allow for timely accurate billing.
Managing Direct Reports:
- Creates an “expectation of excellence” and manages performance of direct reports to maximize the value of employees’ contributions towards organizational success.
- Ensures appropriate staffing levels are maintained. Recruits and retains qualified, productive and customer-focused employees, by interviewing, hiring and orienting direct reports within established budget.
- Encourages and creates opportunities for continuous improvement of staff by providing frequent coaching, mentoring, and accurate performance feedback by providing direction and support to staff to deliver quality services with a focus on organizational success. Maintains positive staff morale, observable through team spirit, a sense of belonging and recognition of accomplishments and provides fair and equitable treatment of all employees.

Qualifications
Candidates must reside in one of the approved remote worker states: AR, AZ, CO, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KY, MI, NC, ND, NE, NJ, OH, SC, TN, TX, UT, WI
- Associates degree required; In lieu of an Associates degree, three years of home health or hospice experience may be considered.
- Minimum three years of business office supervisory experience in a clinic, hospital or home health setting required.
- Excellent organizational, time management and administrative skills, including the ability to set priorities the ability to manage multiple demands effectively, use good judgment, as well as work independently and interdependently to achieve positive and timely results.
