Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Region Director, Supply Chain Operations, you will provide executive leadership and strategic oversight for all supply chain activities across a designated region within our organization.

We are seeking an exceptional and highly experiencedRegion Director, Supply Chain Operationsto provide leadership and strategic oversight for all supply chain activities across a designated region within our organization. In this high-impact role, you will be instrumental in managing and inspiring a dedicated team responsible for procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution across all of your region's facilities.

To excel in this position, you must possess strong leadership and analytical skills, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end supply chain management principles, strategic sourcing, and logistics. You will leverage your proven expertise in optimizing complex supply chain operations across multiple sites within a large organization. You will be accountable for divisional performance on key operational indicators, forging successful relationships with market and facility executives to drive value, optimize operating margins, and ensure our supply chain seamlessly supports our organizational strategic plan. Every day you will manage a team responsible for procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution within your region's facilities.

To be successful in this role, you must possess strong leadership and analytical skills, a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end supply chain management principles, strategic sourcing, and logistics, and proven experience in optimizing complex supply chain operations across multiple sites within a large organization.

  • Forges successful relationships with market and facility executives, key department leaders, and adjacent stakeholders to influence the facilities and markets within their scope to optimize supply chain value and operating margin.
  • Accountable for the division performance on key operational performance indicators.
  • Optimizes the total cost of ownership for the supply chain including supply expense, labor, and other operating expenses related to supply chain activity across the division.
  • Ensures department complies with established standard operating procedures, policies, quality assurance programs, safety, environmental, and infection control policies and procedures.
  • Selects, orientates, assigns, and evaluates market level department staff.
  • Manages department to national SSRM operating standards of performance, making operational and personnel decisions to achieve desired performance.
  • Promotes improvement efforts throughout the organization to streamline processes, optimize financial performance, and identify areas of general inefficiency.
  • Ensures department goals and objectives help to carry out the organization’s strategic plan, philosophy, and vision.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Masters Other, upon hire or Post Graduate Degree, upon hire
  • Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in Supply Chain within a healthcare facility system or other relevant experience 
  • Minimum 10 years healthcare / supply chain experience
  • 7 years leadership experience may be considered in-place of advanced degree
  • Change Management and Leadership (LEAD) experience within first year
  • Team management and/or project management preferred
