Job Summary and Responsibilities

As the Manager Residency Programs GME for California Hospital Medical Center, you will directly oversee all administrative aspects of the Graduate Medical Education Program, ensuring compliance, supporting program growth, and aligning with our mission and values. You will also be responsible for being the liaison among administration, the teaching faculty, system hospitals, professional associations, and the program affiliates, which is consistent with the Mission and Values of Dignity Health.


Each day you will manage project implementation, staff supervision, program finances (including grants), and all aspects of resident recruitment. You will also ensure compliance with ACGME requirements and other regulatory bodies, act as a key liaison, manage program budgets, and oversee contracts.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate exceptional leadership in GME program management, expert knowledge of accreditation and regulatory requirements, and a proven ability to manage complex administrative, financial, and compliance functions effectively.

Job Requirements
Required Education and Experience: 
  • Bachelor's degree in a health-related field required.
  • Fire Safety card required within 90 days of hire.

Required Special Skills and Training:

  • Graduate medical education including residency training and requirements and ACGME requirements, applicable computer software, National Match
    requirements, and Medicare GME-related requirements required.
