The posted compensation range of $133.55 - $186.96 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will help oversee the financial health of our organization as well as our long-term strategic plan so that we're able to offer excellent care and service to our patients for many years to come.
Every day you will leverage your exceptional prioritization skills to navigate a demanding workload, which may include managing a full inbox of approval requests, meeting month-end deadlines, or submitting budget drafts. You will expertly delegate tasks when appropriate, focus exclusively on top-level responsibilities that require your unique expertise, and proactively manage expectations for all other pending items. Regardless of your audience, you will consistently communicate with personability, knowledge, and an unwavering commitment to integrity.
To be successful in this role, you must possess exceptional financial acumen, encompassing best practices, a comprehensive understanding of the full revenue cycle, adept forecasting abilities, and expertise in long-term strategic planning. Your proficiency will be evidenced by a proven track record in previous roles, where you successfully increased revenue, optimized the revenue cycle, reduced costs, or implemented cost-saving processes.
- Oversees budgeting and long term financial planning for the hospital in order to achieve the organization's mission and vision through short-term and long-term goals.
- Represents the organization and its directors and officers in hospital-related financial affairs, including the presentation of financial results and complex industry and regulatory issues impacting the hospital and its related entities. Accountable for the content and professionalism of the hospital's business plans.
- Participates as a contributing leader in the hospital's strategy and business development functions and activities.
- Participates in the preparation and execution of policies, procedures and plans required for effective hospital operations and regulatory compliance.
Job Requirements
Required
- Masters Other Finance, Business Administration, CPA, or relateddiscipline and Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive/combined in healthcare finance and management., upon hire and
- Minimum of five (5) years of management experience.
- Fire Safety, within 90 Days
