The posted compensation range of $25.00 - $29.50 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Attendant, you will provide attentive service and dedicated support, ensuring a welcoming and well-maintained environment for all.
Every day you will expertly assist individuals, manage daily tasks, maintain cleanliness and order, and meticulously respond to needs to foster a positive experience.
To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate outstanding helpfulness, strong organizational skills, and a friendly, proactive demeanor, contributing to overall guest/client satisfaction.
- Transport patients to and from SDS, PACU, GI Lab, Surgery, and other departments promptly.
- Transport blood products, specimens, beds, and other equipment required as requested by nurses.
- Checks blanket and fluid warmers at par levels and replenish. Label fluids for the warmer according to policy expiration. Check compressed air tanks daily and replenish and store them as appropriate.
- Dock Neptune suction equipment daily or as needed.
- Restock sinks with scrub brushes, masks, hats, shoe covers, and other related supplies daily in a cost-effective manner.
Required
- Two (2) or more years of hospital experience
- Fire Safety, within 90 Days
- Basic Life Support - CPR
Preferred
- High School Graduate General Studies
- Clinical support experience applied
