The posted compensation range of $36.59 - $60.38 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our RN Telephone Triage, you will work as a telephone triage Registered Nurse in the Call Center, managing calls from diverse clients including community members, physician practices, managed care members, and Home Care patients.
Every day you will perform health assessments using computerized guidelines, provide general health information from approved references, and as needed, provide physician and community service referrals. You will expertly function in a multi-task environment to support various client contracts.
To be successful in this role, you will be a Registered Nurse with strong telephone triage skills, expertise in health assessments, and the ability to function efficiently in a multi-task environment.
- Answers incoming phone calls for all product lines and provides thorough and accurate telephone triage.
- Assesses patient's physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interview, review of medical records & clinical data.
- Evaluates patient's response and intervenes to ensure optimal patient outcome.
- Documents all calls according to call center guidelines.
- Promotes, advocates, and collaborates to protect the health and safety and rights of each patient.
- Provides patient/family education through assessment of patient/family learning readiness, needs, and ability.
- Recognizes the patient or designee as a full partner in providing compassionate and coordinated care based on respect for the patient's preferences, values, and needs.
This position will support the Longmont Neurology Clinic.
Job RequirementsRequired
- Associate's Degree in Nursing or by endorsement.
- Three (3) years recent hospital, home health or clinic experience.
- RN License; Current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
