Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our RN Supervisor, Clinic Practice, you will provide leadership in the daily operations of the practice, assuming responsibility for business, financial, and clinical functions to ensure quality, cost-effective patient care and enhanced safety.

Every day you will oversee the overall operations of the clinic and community initiatives, promoting optimal patient health and safety through the nursing process, and adhering to care standards and the State Nurse Practice Act. You will also assist in developing physician and community relations, practice personal accountability, and lead staff to achieve set goals and mission/core values.

To be successful in this role, you will be a Registered Nurse with strong leadership and administrative skills in clinic practice, expertise in ambulatory clinical nursing and community health concepts, and a proven ability to manage operations, lead staff, and enhance the quality and safety of care delivery.

  • Provide leadership for all clinic services: expansion and growth of services, physician relations, personnel, and marketing and community relations.
  • Recruits, selects, monitors, develops, coaches, and mentors staff to achieve outcomes for quality patient care.
  • Oversees the clinic staff in all activities to ensure high quality standards are met and to keep the facility running smoothly.
  • Accountable for monitoring and managing the operational and capital budgets. Understands how to strengthen the clinic through good financial planning and implementation. Applies key financial concepts to decision-making.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Function effectively within nursing and inter-professional teams, fostering open communication, mutual respect, and shared decision-making to achieve quality patient care. Coordinate the activities of an interdisciplinary care team that takes collective responsibility for proactively supporting patient's unity of body, mind and spirit as they relate to comprehensive patient care. The interdisciplinary team includes but is not limited to the primary care provider, specialists, third-party providers, patient, and nursing.
  • Achieves facility goals and objectives using a participative approach to improve the quality of care and market position.
Job Requirements

Required

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing
  • Three (3) years clinical background in area of specialty.
  • Experience providing patient education and coaching.
  • Experience in or knowledge of working within established budget parameters.
  • Current RN license in state of employment / Current RN license from a participating state in National Licensure Compact.
  • Current Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association.

Preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Previous supervision as well as leadership skills.
  • RN Certification in Ambulatory Nursing through the AAACN, strongly preferred. Other applicable nursing certifications may be considered if applicable for this role.
