The posted compensation range of $31.83 - $39.78 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities
The Pharmacy Technician assists Pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory, and maintaining patient records. The Pharmacy Technician works under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to perform operational support functions such as billing/crediting, controlled substance processing, inventory control and training.
This position is required to perform distributional support functions including electronic profiling, timely and accurate labeling and preparation of products in compliance with P&P/rules/regulations and daily operation/oversight of the Automated dispensing Robot-Rx. Single Access This position may have access to third party credit card information and transactional systems (cash registers, point of sale devices, applications supporting credit card transactions, and reports or other documents containing credit card information) from single transactions or a single card at a time.
Job Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Current California Pharmacy Technician Registration required.
- One-two year pharmacy technician experience preferred, but not required.
- College courses desirable but not required.
