The posted compensation range of $63.25 - $74.42 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Medical Director, the Nuclear Medicine Technologist prepares, calibrates, logs, and administers radioactive isotopes to patients undergoing a variety of Nuclear Medicine/Nuclear Cardiology procedures. On call duties are necessary for those working in this position. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist operates Gamma Camera imaging equipment, computers, and other isotopes sensitive equipment to obtain representation or measurement or isotope concentration in specific body areas/organs.
This position requires providing care/service to critically ill through rehabilitating patients, pediatric through geriatric population in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of he individual served. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of St. Mary Medical Center. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support St. Mary Medical Center's strategic plan and the goals and direction of the Performance Improvement Plan.
Job Requirements
- Completion of an accredited training program in neurodiagnostics.
- American Board of Registered Neurodiagnostic Technologist (ABRET) certification preferred in EEG, evoke potential and intraoperative monitoring.
- Current Venipuncture Certificate
- One year experience in neurodiagnostics.
- High School Graduate.
- Associate Degree preferred
