Material Management Coordinator
The posted compensation range of $26.39 - $38.27 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Responsibilities
Under direction of the Materials Management Manager/Supervisor this position is responsible for cost containment in the entire procedural care area. Inclusive of all supply storage areas the Lawson Webtool request and inventory control. Actively confirms all incoming deliveries of stock and nonstock supplies equipment and services.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years in materials management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of medical inventory/equipment management.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in written form in English. Good numerical skills are a must.
- Sound customer service techniques and practices; ability to communicate in a professional and articulate manner with internal and external partners at all levels, both verbally and in writing; remaining calm and courteous while handling problems; comfort as a team member and informational leader with knowledge of Materials Management.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of college.
Preferred/Desired:
- 3-5 years previous Materials Management related work experience in a hospital stockroom or warehouse.
- AA Degree/Bachelors in business management Supply Chain highly desired
- Preferred buyer or inventory experience.
- Lawson Materials Management Information System
- Certified Surgery Tech or Certified Central Service Tech
