Job Summary and Responsibilities

The Social Worker, MSW provides comprehensive psychosocial assessment, intervention, and discharge planning services to patients and their families within an acute care hospital setting. Utilizing a patient-centered, strengths-based approach, the Social Worker addresses personal, social, and emotional factors impacting a patient's health status and recovery. This role collaborates closely with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure continuity of care, optimize patient outcomes, and facilitate safe and appropriate transitions post-hospitalization. The Social Worker advocates for patients, empowers them, and connects them with necessary resources to achieve their highest level of functioning and well-being. Education patients, families, and medical staff regarding available resources and guidelines associated in accessing resources. Provide applications as needed for these resources.

We are offering a $10,000 sign on bonus to hires who meet the eligibility requirements. We also offer referral incentives as well as relocation assistance. 

Job Requirements

Licensed Certified Social Work
Licensed Master Social Work
Licensed Bachelor of Social Work with minimum of 5 years medical social work experience

A current unencumbered Social Worker license to practice in the State of Arkansas is required

Experience in a medical setting preferred
