Work with a team of physicians and therapists to develop and carry out patient treatment plans 

Perform patient evaluations and treatments based on patient needs

Assist patients with treatment, management and prevention of their conditions

Monitor effectiveness of treatments based on patient outcomes 


Qualifications

Degree in Physical Therapy

State Licensure in Physical Therapy (PT)

BLS certification within 30 days of employment

Graduates eligible for licensure will be considered

Overview

As a Physical Therapist at St. Gabriel’s Hospital you’ll help outpatients and inpatients improve maintain their overall physical wellbeing following an illness, injury, surgery. Using various treatments, you will help patients reduce pain, build strength and endurance, increase range of motion, or develop better balance to keep them functioning at their best level.

Our physical therapists see an average of 8 patients daily for initial evaluations or treatments. Our therapists perform most treatments themselves and work with a variety of diagnoses.  Our environment is collaborative and supportive with team members willing to offer help, advice, or mentoring at any time.

To thrive as a physical therapist, you must be a team player. You’ll constantly collaborate with other therapists, patients, and their families to seek the best possible treatment outcome. You should be personable, positive, and motivated to provide quality care to a wide variety of patients every day.
