The posted compensation range of $71.79 - $82.94 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Pharmacist, you’ll help our doctors and nurses safely prescribe and dispense medications to help our patients feel better and recover from their illness or injury.
Every day you will meticulously review every prescription in your queue for safety, critically assessing for potential drug interactions, correct dosing, patient allergies, or any irregularities. You'll then authorize prescriptions for the pharmacy technician, performing a final check before dispensing medication to the nursing station, ensuring expert oversight in every process.
To excel in this role, you must enjoy learning new concepts and researching information in real-time to provide solutions for real people. You should also continually look for ways to go above and beyond for your patients, delivering an exceptional experience along with exceptional care.
- Coordination of Pharmacy functions for Medications Reconciliation, Renal dosing, Kinetics, IV production including TPN’s, Chemotherapy, Medication verification, Compounding, Automatic Dispensing Cabinets, Patient education and Dispensing of medications. If working as Pharmacist Lead in Retail Pharmacy functions would include, Retail prescriptions, Hospice consulting, and oversight of the day to day activities. The following elements are essential to accomplish these functions.

Graduate of College of Pharmacy
Current Minnesota Board of Pharmacy Registration

Three years of experience working in a pharmacy environment
