Non-Certified Medical Assistant I
The posted compensation range of $15.92 - $22.79 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Communicates with clinical, clerical, providers, patients, and families to ensure continuity
of care.
2. Review and/or initiate a phone note or task in electronic record system. (May not perform
telephone triage.)
3. Ensures that the medical record and documents are accurately complete.
4. Escorts patients to exam rooms, obtains accurate vital signs and obtains medical data such
as patients history, symptoms, and reason for visit. (May not complete screenings,
assessments or medication review or reconciliation.)
5. Prepares and maintains exam rooms and pod area with supplies and equipment for
treatment
6. May perform other related non-clinical duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- (1) year experience as a Medical Assistant in an outpatient medical office, physician clinic or OB Office setting. (If operational conditions exist and no qualified candidates apply, the employer may consider a combination of education, experience and skill in lieu of the (1) year of experience as a Medical Assistant).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two years of experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Medical terminology, ability to clearly communicate and understand English required.
