Financial Analyst
The posted compensation range of $21.80 - $31.62 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Responsibilities
Job Summary / Purpose
Develops and supports an environment of effective decision making, forecasting, opportunity identification, and performance management for supply chain; partners with national supply chain, national finance teams, division finance teams, and division supply chain teams.
Essential Functions
- Supports owners of the division’s supply chain expense (e.g., CFO, VP of Supply Chain Operations) to ensure accurate, timely and insightful analyses of the division’s supply chain performance
- Leverages existing tools (and provide input into new ones as needed) to monitor budget vs actual results and provide input into key drivers of performance
- Confirms root cause of material variances (e.g., by working with national category teams and local implementation teams as needed)
- Identifies new division-specific initiatives based on detailed analysis of PO and charge detail data
- Provides regular analyses of division level supply chain performance and serve as a subject matter expert to support development of the division’s supply chain budget
- Synthesizes large complex financial analytics and communicate findings to leadership
- Coordinates with national supply chain team to manage the quarterly CHI rebate and patronage distributions, including audit controls, fund transfer files, reporting and communication

Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelors Of Science in Accounting, Finance, Business, or closely related degree.
- Two to Seven years experience within Finance or Accounting, or closely related fields.
