The posted compensation range of $20.86 - $29.46 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Job Summary and Responsibilities
Administrative support for the Department Vice President. Is responsible for planning, researching, problem-solving and performing special projects as assigned. This position will coordinate schedules and act as the representative for designated routine matters. Must be able to organize, prioritize, work well under pressure and deal effectively with all levels within and outside of the organization.
Expectations
- Requires involvement with high-level contacts and exposure to sensitive information necessitating considerable use of tact, diplomacy, discretion and judgment.
- Must maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements.
- Responsible for the coordination and functions of the Board meetings and Board related committee meetings.
- Performs a variety of daily activities and functions, assists with meetings, involving staff and physicians, including scheduling, taking and distributing minutes; assists with maintenance of service agreements.
Job Requirements
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3-5 years of progressive secretarial and clerical experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- A strong working knowledge of Google Workspace, along with the capacity to learn other relevant systems and databases, as needed.
Preferred:
- Associates Degree
- Medical background
- Professional/community involvement
