The posted compensation range of $22.89 - $33.20 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Responsibilities
Job Summary / Purpose
The Clinical Dietitian provides optimal nutritional care for patients through nutrition education, nutrition consultation, and provision of meal service. Provides patient care and services based on identified needs/developmental level for all patient populations including determination of individual patient needs, incorporation of age-specific characteristics in patient education, communication, planning and provision of individualized care. The Clinical Dietitian assists with planning therapeutic diets in accordance with physician's diagnoses and requirements of regulatory agencies. Functions as a member of the multidisciplinary healthcare team to implement nutrition care plans.

Required Education (for CHI Leadership Job Levels from Supervisor through President) | Does Not Apply |
Required Education for Staff Job Levels | Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics/Nutrition required. |
Required Licensure and Certifications | Registered Dietitian status and Licensed Dietitian status within the state of Kentucky required. |
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities | Adequate conversational English is required in order that the individual be able to take direction from management, understand how to complete job tasks, communicate adequately with patients and co-workers as necessary, understand and follow safety guidelines, and understand the Associate Handbook and all hospital policies. |
PREFERRED Qualifications | Master's Degree in specialized field preferred. |
