The posted compensation range of $16.42 - $23.19 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Anesthesia Technician, you will provide critical support in the safe and efficient administration of anesthesia, assisting providers with equipment and supplies for diverse surgical and non-surgical cases.
Every day, you will prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment, supplies, and medications before, during, and after cases. This includes performing complex procedures under direction (e.g., setting up and assisting with line placement, intubation, extubation), managing supply inventory, room turnover, and patient positioning/transport.
To be successful in this vital role, you will demonstrate a thorough understanding of anesthesia equipment and sterile techniques, possess meticulous attention to detail, and exhibit excellent communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
- Acquire and prepare anesthesia equipment and supplies.
- Inventory, order and/or stock supplies.
- Clean and stock surgical rooms.
- Assist anesthesia provider.
- Participates in the direct services of the Department.
Job Requirements
Required
- High School GED High School Graduate or GED and Experience as an anesthesia technician, upon hire
- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
