The posted compensation range of $24.33 - $36.19 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Patient Access Supervisor, you will lead the daily operations of the Registration department, actively monitoring, coordinating, and evaluating all staff activities to guarantee the best and quickest service for our patients.
Daily, you will provide clear direction and coordinate efforts for prior authorization and scheduling processes for both staff and patients. You will be responsible for the daily administration of tasks, delivering exceptional customer service, and achieving high patient satisfaction.
Success in this role requires a dedication to operational excellence, fostering a patient-centric environment, and ensuring efficient, high-quality patient access services.
- Responsible for supervising, guiding and motivating the registration department.
- Uses reports and dashboards to monitor daily productivity of the department and individuals.
- Monitors the accuracy of data entry by registration staff.
- Responsible for continuing staff education and training.
- Prepares monthly work schedule to ensure adequate staffing in all areas.
- Responsible for covering any open shifts in the event no one is available.
- Ability to work other locations as needed.
Job Requirements
Required
- High School Graduate or High School GED
- Minimum 2 years experience working in a hospital patient registration department, physician office setting, healthcare insurance company, or revenue-cycle related role in a healthcare setting.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support - CPR.
Preferred
- Bachelors Other and Supervisory experience, upon hire.
