The posted compensation range of $32.35 - $49.97 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Join our Occupational Therapist team! As an Occupational Therapist, you will be is responsible for a continuum of services providing care to patients with neuromuscular, orthopedic, and other physically related disorders requiring mobility training, strengthening, modalities, specialized manual therapy, and neuromuscular reeducation. In this position, you will utilize the rehab process to promote and restore the optimal health and well-being of the patient. Assumes personal accountability for organizational mission and core values
Job Requirements
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
- Previous work experience providing direct patient care in an outpatient, inpatient, or inpatient rehab unit preferred
- Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR), preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy required
- Master's degree preferred
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association required
- Current Colorado state licensure in occupational therapy upon hire or within 3 months is required
Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
With sporadic later shifts for same-day surgical accommodations, this PRN OT position will cover our day shift hours.
