Make a difference in patient care! St. Clare Hospital in Lakewood, WA is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. This is a rewarding 0.6 FTE Day Shift position offering a competitive sign-on bonus!


Responsibilities

About the Role:

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you'll play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging. You'll operate advanced equipment, prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the process. Your expertise will directly impact the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and calibrate nuclear medicine equipment according to established protocols.
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals, adhering to strict safety and regulatory standards.
  • Perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures using advanced imaging techniques.
  • Maintain meticulous patient records and logs, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
  • Safely handle and dispose of radioactive materials.
  • Participate in quality control and equipment maintenance.
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

    • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program (Associate's or Bachelor's degree).
    • Washington State certification as a Radiologic Technologist.
    • NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification required.
    • Current BLS certification.
    • In-depth knowledge of nuclear medicine principles, procedures, and safety regulations.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
