Responsibilities
About the Role:

As an Echo Tech at St. Clare Hospital, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic echocardiography services to our patients.  Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing a full range of echocardiographic studies, including transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms.
  • Maintaining and operating echocardiography equipment.
  • Preparing patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and understanding.
  • Accurately documenting patient information and test results.
  • Collaborating effectively with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Adhering to strict quality control and infection control protocols.


Qualifications

About You:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Echo Technologist who possesses:

  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Echo Technologist in a hospital setting.
  • Proficiency in performing all types of echocardiographic studies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
