The posted compensation range of $64.37 - $100.00 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. The Director of Multiple Service Lines is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of assigned service lines across the hospital system, including Ancillary Services and the Heart & Vascular Center of Excellence. This role ensures high-quality, cost-effective clinical outcomes and service accessibility throughout the catchment area. The Director will collaborate closely with Medical Directors and clinical teams to evaluate current services, identify gaps and barriers, and implement process improvements that drive growth, excellence, and community impact.
This position oversees both tactical operations and strategic development across multiple service lines, including but not limited to Ancillary Services and Cardiovascular Services. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience in cardiac cath lab operations and ancillary services, with a proven ability to coordinate across facilities and disciplines.
Job Responsibilities (essential functions)
• Lead clinical and business operations for multiple service lines, including Ancillary and Cardiovascular Services.
• Oversee Heart & Vascular Center of Excellence operations and coordinate with other facilities for system-wide alignment.
• Evaluate existing services, identify gaps/barriers, and develop strategies to improve accessibility and outcomes.
• Collaborate with Medical Directors and clinical teams to ensure program viability and growth.
• Design and implement work processes that support high-quality, cost-effective care delivery.
• Ensure services are available at the most appropriate point of care within the community.
• Drive innovation and excellence in service line performance and patient experience.
Job Requirements
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
- Minimum 5 years of healthcare experience, with at least 1 year in cardiac service line operations.
- Minimum 3 years of previous leadership experience.
- Minimum 7 years of management experience in healthcare, including leadership within assigned service lines.
- Strong experience in Ancillary Services and Cardiac Cath Lab leadership, preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Master’s degree in Nursing, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline required.
Physical Requirements-Sedentary work -(prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10lbs force occasionally)
