Responsibilities

The Mammo Tech Lead is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all of the functions within the department, including testing, staffing, training, maintaining supplies, and ensuring that the department meets all standards set forth by ACR, JCAHO, Medicare, TDH and other regulatory bodies. The Section Leader must ensure that services are of the best quality, are cost contained, are carried out in an expeditious manner, and the Supervisor must have the ability to recognize results or problems that require referral to either the Director or Medical Director as appropriate. The Section Leader must follow all hospital safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Report immediately all accidents / incidents and unsafe conditions to the Director.


Qualifications
  • Five years of experience in Mammo required’
  • AAS or equivalent in Radiologic Technology required 
  • Successful completion of an accredited program in radiologic technology required 
  • 2 plus years of clinical training from an accredited school of radiologic technology
  • American Heart BLS required 
  • ARRT Registry in Radiologic Technology. Licensed by TDH as a Medical Radiologic Technologist. Advanced Registry in Quality Management and/or other advanced Registries to include CT, MR, US, NM, Mammo required
